With 4 Saturday league teams, our 1st XI competes in the Greene King Southern Premier Cricket League and the 2nd XI, 3rd XI and 4th XI compete in the Hampshire Cricket League.
Our colts’ section is thriving with age groups ranging from U9’s to U15’s, our ladies’ team play in the Hampshire Ladies 1st Division and have a squad that includes a blend of experienced players and highly talented developing young cricketers including a number of representative county cricketers.
The Cricket Club has two grounds adjacent to each other on the banks of the River Hamble at Botley Road, Burridge. The main ground which has been nurtured by hard working long servants of the club boasts a cricket square equivalent in size to the Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire County Cricket Club. The playing surface is one of the best in southern England and is supported by excellent practice facilities including three full bay artificial lanes and a number of grass nets on the main square. The main ground also has an electronic scoreboard, which provides players and spectators with full on-going game information as it happens.
With over 150 members, Burridge CC is part of the Burridge Social and Sports Club. New members are always welcome whether it be as a player, spectator, coach or volunteer, so come along to The Ridge and enjoy what we have to offer.
