Dear Parents,
Just to bring you up to speed about the forthcoming season for the Colts at Burridge CC 2016. Again after good recruitment during the winter months we will be entering teams into the South East Hants Cricket League at all ages. Games will be at weekends or could be midweek after school. There will be set dates for certain age groups at home, hopefully on Sundays. We will let you know on this.
From Friday 22nd April we will be starting our coaching evenings at Burridge CC. This will continue on Fridays from 6-8pm.
On Friday 15th April we will be having a registration and subscriptions evening a Burridge CC and this will incorporate presentations for Colts who took part in the 2015 season. On this evening we will be selling the new Burridge CC Masuri kit for Colts. for the new season. Please bring cash or cheque books on the night for registration and kit purchase. The evening will start at 6pm and there will a barbeque on the go as well, like last season.
We have lots of plans for the season, to include entries again into the U9 Zooters and the U11 Skills Challenge at the Ageas Bowl. I will again be selling discounted tickets for all the Hampshire CC T20 Blast matches at the Ageas.
Lastly, thanks to all the coaches and parents who have taken part in winter nets the last few months, it has again been so worthwhile in developing new or existing skills. There will be training sessions for U1, U13 and U15 sides in the coming weeks and we will let you know asap.
The managers for this season for our Colts for your reference will be as follows:
U9 Rodney Burt 07776 258811
U11 Gary Steward 07753 788687
U13 Neil Munz-Jones 07774 750132
U15 Mark Randell 07585 665125
We have secured qualified coaches from Hampshire CC to come and coach and develop our Colts this season and they will be starting with the U9s on the 22nd April.
We are still recruiting players across all age groups, especially at U15 so please lets us know if you have anyone who wants to come along and join asap.
So lots planned and watch this space, further emails to follow.
Kind Regards
Gary Steward
